Harishni Ramesha has been a professor at The Canadian Academy of Dental Hygiene for 6 years and currently teaching dental hygiene students Oral Pathology, Introduction to Research, Community I & II, and clinical courses. She provides mobile dental hygiene services within her community to increase access to care and she serves as a board of director on the Ontario Dental Hygienists Association advocating for the growth of the profession in Ontario. She has a passion for education and incorporates mindfulness and well being practices in her teaching methodology. Her vision is to motivate other healthcare professionals to educate their clients on the oral systemic link in hopes to bridge the gap between oral and overall health.
